Common questions

How much does a plumber cost?

It depends on the job and how bad the problem is. That is why the first step is a phone call. Describe the problem and get your free estimate on the phone, with upfront pricing.

Will I talk to a real person?

Yes, you will.

Do I need to fill out a form?

No forms and no waiting on emailed quotes. One phone call is all it takes.

Can I get help at night or on a weekend?

We have plumbers ready to help families in the community 24/7, but moment-to-moment availability depends on demand. Call to find out how soon we can service your home.

Should I wait to call?

You already know that plumbing problems don't go away on their own. And waiting just increases the risks to your house. Plumbers see this hesitation all the time. Instead of regretting not calling earlier, just make that 2-minute call now and get your free estimate.

People also ask

Is water hammer actually damaging anything?

It can be. Each shock loads the joints, the hangers and the fixture valves, and over years that shows up as a weep at a fitting or a failed washer. It also tends to get worse as arrestors and air chambers lose their cushion.

Why did my pressure drop after a repipe on one side of the house?

Usually because part of the old line is still in service. Mixing a new PEX branch into an old galvanized trunk leaves the narrowest section in charge of the whole house, which is why a partial repipe sometimes disappoints.

Who do I call about a leak between the meter and the street?

Start with the water utility, since that stretch is normally theirs. Anything past the meter is on you. Homes toward Kinder and Lake Arthur on rural runs sometimes have a long private line, so it pays to know where the meter actually sits.
